Bunker, John a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Shaftsbury, Vt., June 11, 1807. He removed with his parents to Morrow County, 0., in 1815; experienced conversion in 1842; and in 1846 entered the North Ohio Conference, and in it labored, as his health permitted, until his sudden death, June 18, 1849. John McClintock was born October 27, 1814 in Philadelphia to Irish immigrants, John and Martha McClintock. He began as a clerk in his father's store, and then became a bookkeeper in the Methodist Book Concern in New York. Here he converted to Methodism and considered joining the ministry.
