Buzzell, Aaron a Free-will Baptist minister, was -born at Barrington, N. H., November, 1764. He was converted at the age of twenty-five, and soon after he began to speak in public, and, with his brother John, travelled and labored for seven years. His first effort at preaching was at Alton. His ordination' occurred at the October term of the New Durham. Quarterly Meeting, 1794. Subsequently he travelled very extensively in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, where his labors were greatly blessed.' He organized and assisted in organizing' many churches, and baptized more than one thousand persons. John McClintock was born October 27, 1814 in Philadelphia to Irish immigrants, John and Martha McClintock. He began as a clerk in his father's store, and then became a bookkeeper in the Methodist Book Concern in New York. Here he converted to Methodism and considered joining the ministry. McClintock entered the University of Pennsylvania in 1832 and graduated with high honors three years later.
