Catalani (or Catalano), Antonio (2)
(called the Roman, or the younger), an Italian painter, was born at Bologna about 1596, and studied under Albano. He painted several pictures for the Bolognese churches. In the Church of La Madonna del Grada are four pictures of the patron saints of the city, in four niches; and in the Church Deliesu, St. Peter Healing the Lame at the Porch of the Temple. John McClintock was born October 27, 1814 in Philadelphia to Irish immigrants, John and Martha McClintock. He began as a clerk in his father's store, and then became a bookkeeper in the Methodist Book Concern in New York. Here he converted to Methodism and considered joining the ministry. McClintock entered the University of Pennsylvania in 1832 and graduated with high honors three years later.
