a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was born near Hazel Green, Morgan County, Kentucky, February 19, 1849. He removed to Missouri in 1870, was converted in 1874, and the same year joined the Missouri Conference. He died at Savannah, Missouri, May 23, 1881. See Minutes of Annual Conferences of the M.E. John McClintock was born October 27, 1814 in Philadelphia to Irish immigrants, John and Martha McClintock. He began as a clerk in his father's store, and then became a bookkeeper in the Methodist Book Concern in New York. Here he converted to Methodism and considered joining the ministry.
