Nas'bas
(Νασβάς, Vulg. Nabath), the nephew of robit who came with Achiacharus to the wedding of Tobias (Tob. 11:18). Grotius considers him the same with Achiacharus the son of Anael, but according to the Vulgate they were brothers. The margin of the A.V. gives "Junius" as the equivalent of Nasbas.

John McClintock was born October 27, 1814 in Philadelphia to Irish immigrants, John and Martha McClintock. He began as a clerk in his father's store, and then became a bookkeeper in the Methodist Book Concern in New York. Here he converted to Methodism and considered joining the ministry.
