Ez 3:16 - 18
Now it came to pass at the end of seven days that the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 17"Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: 18When I say to the wicked, "You shall surely die,' and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.
Hab 2:1 - 3
I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected. 2 Then the LORD answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. 3For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Both Ezekiel and Habakkuk listened to God carefully and stood firm in God's calling for their lives. We too must be careful to hear everything from God's mouth, obey it and remain faithful in the ministry He has called us to, so that those that are being led to destruction might be turned back through the Lord's working through us.
Two stories from the life of Rudie Lack illustrates it well (full stories to come).

Are you bound to money, TV, sexual immorality, sport, etc.? It will only be grace if someone who is a watchman break into your house and save you from certain destruction. Who will be such faithful watchmen, rescuing those destined for certain destruction?
He entered into a large Church in his home-town and there read the guest book. Many people wrote there how they prayed that God would save them from some form of misery. He realised that he need not go to be a missionary outside, but could be one right there in his hometown. (Click here for the full story)
Let us be faithful watchmen where God has placed us. If you are unfaithful, how will you enter heaven with the blood of souls on your hands?
Be the first to react on this!
