It's crazy to think about the Son of God, the Messiah who is about to be crucified taking the time to wash His disciple's feet. Yet that is just what Jesus did and then He challenges us to do as He has done for us! Today we will look at this important calling.

One of the things I love about God's Word is it reminds us that a day is coming when we will be in the very presence of God. In 1 Corinthians 13:12, the Apostle Paul reminds us that for now we see in part and know in part but a day is coming when we will see fully and know fully. What a day that will be!

Proverbs 17:22 in the Bible reminds us that a cheerful heart is good medicine and recent studies strongly support this conclusion. We will likely live longer, have less chronic illness, and experience less stress if we are cheerful and have a positive attitude. 
And as followers of the Lord, we have a lot to be cheerful about.

The Apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Timothy that physical training has some value but this does not compare to the value of training ourselves to be godly. In today's devotion, we discuss the importance of training ourselves to be godly.

I think we are afraid that if we admit to having any doubts it means our faith is weak. There is a wonderful story in Mark's gospel where Jesus addresses this very thing. The great news of us. Jesus wants to help us deal with our doubts and fears.
