Psalm 132 is one of the great Messianic Psalms of the Bible. The first half of the Psalm is about David’s desire for God’s presence to dwell among His people. The second half of the Psalm is about God’s promise to dwell among and rule over them through His Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. Psalm 132 shows us we can only understand Christmas and the birth of Christ in light of the full purpose and plan of God.
