This Sunday the sermon is from Philippians 3:12-16 – Pursuing Perfection. “But one thing I do …” – Philippians 3:13

After experiencing God’s grace through the Gospel, the Apostle Paul lived a very focused and purposeful life. He pressed on “toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14) He also counseled believers – “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31) What is your purpose in life? What goals do you have for 2022? The Shorter Catechism begins by stating – “Man’s chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.” Is this the one thing you and I do?
