In this sermon, we look at Jesus walking on water (Matthew 14:22-33, Mark 6:45-52, and John 6:14-21) and the main point that this event proved that Jesus should be worshiped because he "certainty is the Son of God." The sermon outline or propositional statement is as follows:

Because Jesus is God we should…

1. PRAY to Him (Matthew 14:23).
2. FEAR Him (Matthew 14:24-26).
3. COME to Him and TRUST Him (Matthew 14:27-29).
4. Have full FAITH in Him (and not doubt Him) (Matthew 14:30-31).
5. WORSHIP Him (because He certainly is the Son of God) (Matthew 14:32-33)

…so that we not only give the Son of God what He deserves (our fear/respect, our faith/trust, our worship/love/adoration), but also are blessed in return by His Power, His Blessing, and His Love/Provision as OUR GOD!
