This was my first sermon for DTS. It's supposed to be a 15 minute sermonette/devotional. I was assigned Proverbs 21:31, "The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory belongs to the Lord." Prof gave me an 88... which works out to a mid-B in DTS grading (85 is a C+). From what I can tell, it was just a lot of little things that he marked me down for.
The main criticism I received from both the prof, and my fellows, was that I should have had them turn to the passage and put their eyes on it... which I think is laughable. It's one small verse. There's nothing supernatural in SEEING the words over HEARING the words. But whatever. :) Please, feel free to leave some constructive criticism!
