"Dr. R.C. Sproul emphasized the importance of our daily lives for all eternity. If we truly are created in the image of God, with a destiny that is rooted in Him, then what we do now matters. That's why he named his monthly column Right Now Counts Forever. For more than thirty years, the column provided him with a space to apply the teachings of the Bible and the theology of the Reformation to the daily lives of Ligonier students. Dr. Sproul's column began an occasional feature in the early iteration of Tabletalk as a ministry newsletter. It provided Dr. Sproul with the opportunity to comment on everything from theological issues to film to current events. Nothing was off-limits. When Tabletalk became a monthly devotional magazine in 1989, Right Now Counts Forever became a regular feature, and in it, Dr. Sproul trained his keen eye and incisive mind on various subjects related to theology, history, politics, economics, and more. Here, for the first time, all of Dr. Sproul's columns are brought together into a single collection. Here is a treasury of content from one of the most gifted theologians of our time"--
Robert Charles Sproul was an American Reformed theologian and ordained pastor in the Presbyterian Church in America. He was the founder and chairman of Ligonier Ministries and could be heard daily on the Renewing Your Mind radio broadcast in the United States and internationally. Under Sproul's direction, Ligonier Ministries produced the Ligonier Statement on Biblical Inerrancy, which would eventually grow into the 1978 Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy, of which Sproul, alongside Norman Geisler, was one of the chief architects. Sproul has been described as "the greatest and most influential proponent of the recovery of Reformed theology in the last century."
