Once bound by years of legalism. Now walking freely in God's grace. It hasn't always been easy, I have a lot of unlearning yet to do, and I STILL make mistakes here and there, but I've been enjoying the journey thus far. Enjoying it because Jesus is with me every step of the way.

A living word cannot be perceived by a dead thing and until Jesus shouts "Come forth!" (like with dead Lazarus) that thing is still dead in the tomb. So, instead of pointlessly beating a dead horse, why not pray that life will be restored, so that the Truth of God's word can be realized? There was a time, not too long ago now, when I didn't know there was a passage in scripture that gave the clear and simple gospel message (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). There was a time when I didn't know that once I believed the true gospel, that I would be sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise until the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13). I didn't know that once I believed on the Only Begotten Son of God, that I wouldn't have to worry about His wrath being poured out on me (John 3:36). And there was a time when I didn't know that once I believed on the Lamb of God, that no man (that includes myself) would be able to pluck me out of His hands (John 10:28-29). I didn't know because I was dead to the Truth. I read the Bible, but I had no understanding of it. That wasn't until Holy Spirit helped me to see the light of the Truth that was in it. It was all in accordance to His perfect timing. A seed had been planted prior, and when the timing was right (God's appointed timing) the seed took root and sprouted.

2 Timothy 2:23-26 Why Argue? Holy Spirit Is Well Capable. Are We Gonna Trust His Perfect Timing?

Until we reach our final destination, we, who are in Christ, are still just pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. In the process of growing in God, we'll still fall here and there, but we have an advocate in heaven with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous, who is the propitiation for our sins(1 John 2:2). Our sin debt is paid in full, not because of what we do, but because of what He already did for us all....IF WE BELIEVE. 
 
[Philippians 3:12-14] 
12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 
 
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 
 
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
