Let Down Your Nets for a CATCH! (Luke 5:1-11 Brief Reflection)

"Jesus said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” Luke 5:4-5

God’s call for us is simple. But we are the one who complicate things. We complicate it by means of doing things our way, on our own terms. Rather, entrusting things to yhe One who knows what's best for us.

Moreover, we complicate things by means of filling our hands that aren't necessary for our lives. And it is much difficult for us to let it go. It takes humility and greater courage in us to let go, to let down.

But Jesus is telling all of us today, let down your nets for a catch. You will see much greater things than these.
