Liam is 10 years old. This is Liam's most recent talk (given Thursday, December 10th, 2015). This was his first talk in the front school. Also, it was his first time ever on stage, in front of the congregation. Needless to say, we are very proud parents, actually walking on the clouds right now due to the congratulations he’s received. Many of the gestures Liam uses are uniquely his own...so we take no credit for those! Of course, he does practice his assigned reading a lot (there’s no substitute for “practice, practice, practice”). He has also given a few other talks in the back school room, which is before a smaller audience. We will be uploading videos for those talks shortly... please stay tuned!...

As a family, the three of us take time out regularly to learn what Jehovah God has to say to us. We feel the Bible is very much “alive” – that it’s a living word, a product of God’s powerful holy spirit, or active force (Hebrews 4:12a). That said, it’s up to each individual to take what it says off the page and make it come alive. We believe if we do that then the Bible has positive life-changing power (Hebrews 4:12b). Like all Witnesses of Jehovah, we believe we should humbly search for its meaning and apply what it says. We’ve experienced much joy and happiness doing so. Moreover, we are totally convinced that this way of life - applying the Bible’s counsel and telling others about how it can benefit them - will ultimately lead to an everlasting friendship with God. In other words, we believe when death is made obsolete (Revelation 21:3, 4) we will be there. Liam and his parents hope you are there too! God will bless those who stand separate from the world. The blessing will be unending life as a free gift by means of our appointed savior, Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). Now that’s certainly something to think and talk about! It’s really worth every effort.
