Thanksgiving Day might show up once on the calendar, but for the believer, it is meant to be the posture of every single day. Set your heart deliberately toward gratitude. Before you rush into the noise, pause to thank God out loud for His nearness, His works, and the people He has knit into your life. Thank Him for the privilege of praying with and for others, for the ways He has used this year to teach you how to seek Him more faithfully, and for the unseen mercies that have surrounded you. Ask the Lord to make your words, your attitude, and even your celebrations a living testimony that you give thanks to Him, that you see His hand at work, and that you gladly acknowledge He is near.
