Before the mountains had been shaped, before the hills, I was brought forth, before he had made the earth with its fields, or the first of the dust of the world. — Proverbs 8:22-26 
 
This text is so picturesque. It is our reminder that true wisdom has been around a very long time. Even at the very beginning of time. When time began, God possessed wisdom as he formed life on earth. 
 
Yet, at present, it feels like the pursuit of wisdom is a dangerous endeavor. It's an endeavor that some are not willing to ascend. While we want wisdom, we may feel a growing sense of shame for asking questions in our quest to know wisdom. What happens is our minds perceive that the information we are hearing is not entirely truthful. So we begin to question the information we hear. But then we hesitate. We hesitate because it appears the construct of someone's passion and perspective is so powerful and convicting we assume they must be correct, and we will be wrong for asking the question. And thus, we stop pursuing wisdom. 
 
But those who are wise keep searching. They reach beyond the answers people proclaim and perpetuated propaganda. They move beyond the conviction of people and press beyond their own personal shame. They never stop searching for the oldest and best wisdom. The wisdom that existed even before time and before shame. 
 
So today, fellas, the question is, "Where in your life do you feel a sense of shame?" Then ask this question, "What godly wisdom do you need to overcome that shame?" And then find some godly man who can point you the way to some ancient wisdom. 
 
ASK THIS: "What godly wisdom do you need to overcome that shame?" 
 
DO THIS: Go get some wisdom from a godly man. 
 
PRAY THIS: God, show me my shame and give me ancient wisdom.

Who is the only true God?  Myriads of lies have been told about Jesus and his God, lies leading thousands into the darkness of shameful idolatry to serve a god fabricated by wicked men - the Trinity Delusion.  Turn from their man-made god, a lifeless, blind, deaf & dumb idol to serve the Living God, the God of Jesus, the Lord's God.  His God was/is not a Trinity.  If there is only one God to choose to serve, who then will you choose?  Their God? Or his God?  Choose wisely.

The way to life is the way of Christ - to follow Jesus and walk in his footsteps.

The Trinity Delusion

Why this verse cannot be about God's son. It is a reference to God's wisdom, personified here, and throughout the book of Proverbs as a female "she" one is to court and espouse in contrast to Folly the adulteress one is to avoid courting and espousing. The point of the verse is that God espoused His own Wisdom before He created anything and created all things in His Wisdom, just as we read in several other passages of Scripture. 
 
There is likely an allusion to what came to be the ancient Jewish concept of God's Shekinah glory. 
 
Wisdom and Logos are not the same thing. One's Logos is something which is borne out of one's wisdom. One's Logos is something which originates in the depths of one's Wisdom. 
 
In Genesis 1:26 the US and OUR are God and His Wisdom portrayed in a male-female image and man, male and female, were made in that image of God and His Wisdom. And when Eve ate the fruit to gain Wisdom, and she gave to Adam to also eat, we read that God says man has become like ONE OF US knowing good and evil. US and OUR are God and His Wisdom at Gen 1:26. 
 
Christ became the Wisdom of God when he was raised from the dead (1 Corinthians 1:30) and his preaching and teaching in the Holy Spirit were thereby spoken in the Wisdom of God during his earthly ministry (Luke 11:49). As he taught us, his words were not his own but the Father's who sent him.

King Solomon teaches his sons that God’s wisdom is more desirable than all earthly riches. If we live according to God’s wisdom, he will bless us with things like life, inheritance, honor, and favor. These eternal riches are far better than anything the world has to offer us. If we listen to God’s wisdom and apply it, we will be blessed. Here were our main points: 
 
Believe Wisdom is Better than Riches (vv.10-11)
