The Judge of Quick and Dead

"And He commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is He which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead." Acts 10:42 Here is a testimony to the fact of the resurrection of the dead and a judgment of the living and the dead of all generations. Christ's position is one of dignity and power and must be recognized. In love for men, He became a Man, mingled with men, manifested His love for individuals as well for all men -but it must not be forgotten that He is also the Judge of all men. Believers have rights and titles conferred of Jesus Christ, but they, too, must face Him to be judged for their works. The Day must come and we must face it. Lord, we are Thine and Thou art ours. Let us adore and serve Thee today. Amen.
