Prayer is the constant, daily endeavor of the North Korean church, permeating Christians’ collective relationship with God in an ongoing, passionate communion. This essential spiritual discipline is refined in the crucible of suffering. The underground church prays for things Western Christians would never think to pray for, such as the strength to never deny Christ under torture or to be blessed to possess a Bible. In keeping with Jesus’ command in Matthew 5:44-45, the church prays for those who persecute. At the top of the North Korean church’s list is the salvation of Kim Jong-Il. – Dr. Carl Moeller Stop praying for persecution in China to end, for it is through persecution that the church has grown. We, in fact, are praying that the American church might taste the same persecution, so revival would come to the American church like we have seen in China. We can only rely on the precious blood of Jesus Christ on the cross to be saved. We are saved; not by our own power, but our salvation is the gracious gift of God to us. – Pastor Chen “We should pray in the early morning, learn how to wait on God, love one another, be as one, live in the presence of God, and continually consecrate ourselves.” – Xiao Min Joshua got up early in the morning. What time do we sleep until? Before Jesus comes, we should also get up early in the morning. To do what? To pray. Jesus also showed us how to pray by the way he lived. As Mark 1:35 tells us, “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” – Xiao Min “the Lord is coming soon. The Church in the end times must receive the message – they must share the Gospel, love one another, and be as one.” – Xiao Min
