Dear Saints, this principle is very important for us to walk in and to advance in our Christian walks. If we cannot be a people of great mercy who grow rich in this virtue we will never reach to the maturity of Christ and to the unity of the body of Christ.
The underground Church in other countries look with great love its other members as each member even the weakest are vital to the body functioning. We must look to the weakest members in our assemblies as the greatest and valuable. And when others fail we must remember all of our faults and if necessary restore that one in great gentleness remembering it might be us next who fails (Galatians 6:1).
The below is an excerpt from the larger soon to be released principles book:
When we start to look at another’s problems more than our own, we are in a dangerous place in our walk. Our Lord taught a wonderful parable on mercy. But, sadly, it ends with the judging of the “wicked servant” who did not show mercy but rather had a ministry of choking others: “Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?”332
God considers Justice, Mercy and Faithfulness much more important than tithing, sacrificing and being right before others. We need to get a revelation from the Lord on how important and crucial mercy is to Him. And, thus, we will see it as a precious gift to share with others: “[You] Have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.”333
When we are seeking to be more close to God we covet His wisdom and the fruits of His Spirit. Yet these very attributes are full of mercy, bathed in mercy. Jesus taught to Love our enemies.334 We should seek not to be divided with others without first showing great mercy. May our testimony be that we are as full of mercy as our God is.335
May God fill His body with a powerful unity as we look to Christ our chief Shepherd and emulate his love, care and mercy towards others. Though we can be radical, fervent and know the Bible better than anyone near us, let us not deceive ourselves but prove our Christianity in action by exhibiting great love and mercy for all sinners and the body of Christ, our sisters and brothers.

“Christianity was birthed in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and will only continue as we have this empowering from above. God is always looking for the willing vessels that will trust Him afresh for the impossible.” from: Principles for the gathering of Believers under the Headship of Jesus Christ.Since 2012, a growing group of believers in North America started to warn of coming persecution to western countries. This message was shared in a variety of ways. One of the responses to this was to compile a book taking principles from underground Churches around the world of how they thrived under pressure and persecution. The volume, Principles for the Gathering of Believers, had in a short time over 50,000 downloads in ebook format and much interest was shown. Some new house churches started through this and other existing groups were encouraged.
