God Came

As I think about Christmas, two words come to my mind, "God Came." When God comes there is revival; when His Presence is known everything changes. His glory is more important to us than our own agendas and ambitions.
Zechariah praised God for coming to redeem His people; Mary praised God for doing mighty things for her; the angels praised God for His favour to those on earth, sending His Son to them; Simeon praised God for His faithfulness in keeping His promises; Anna praised God and spoke of the child as Saviour.
You see, when God comes we cannot contain Him, nor can we contain the love and joy which His Presence brings. This Christmas will you find time for personal Revival? Like these saints of old, we need the refreshment of His Presence and we must look beyond the crib, to the cross if we would seek to wear the victor's crown.
May the Lord bless you this Christmas time with His Presence, His Peace, and His Power.
