How To Pray

Romans 8:26 "… we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession f or us with groaning which cannot be uttered.
One Sunday at church I looked across the aisle from me and there was a lady with tears streaming down her cheeks. The Lord put it in my heart to just step across and see if there was anything I could do. So I put my hand on her shoulder, and as she turned I said, "It's obvious you're carrying an awful burden today. Would you like me to pray?"
If you feel you don't know what to pray, then read Romans 8:26 "… we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession f or us with groaning which cannot be uttered." Quietly in my heart I said, "Lord I don't know how to pray. Would you help me?" So I began to pray. That is the way to pray with the Spirit's help – start to pray. He'll show you what to pray.
