He does specifically address a Christian man who refuses to stop sinning and moreover he address the Churches shameful attitude towards it.  This passage cause us to take a look at our church communities and ask ourself what really is the posture of this group of believers when it comes to the practice of sin. What practices in my life are sinful and need to be stopped now.
