This channel is solely dedicated to demonstrating that the King James Version of the Bible, while a good translation, is not the one and only perfect word of God as taught by the KJV Onlyists. It like all other Bibles, including the Hebrew Masoretic texts, have error within them.

While researching the KJV Only debate, I have noticed that the majority of the debate has been centered on the Greek New Testament, and very little attention has been paid to the Hebrew Old Testament. On this channel I will exclusively be comparing the Hebrew text of the Old Testament with the King James Bible to expose the lies and deceit of the KJV Onlyists.

The Hebrew word tam means perfect, in the sense of being whole, complete, blameless and mature. 
 
This word is used to describe Job: 
 
KJV Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. 
 
In the King Kames Bible the word tam is translated as perfect nine times, undefiled twice and upright once, and each of these translations are in-line with the meaning of the Hebrew word tam. 
 
but, one time this word is translated very differently. 
 
KJV Genesis 25:27 And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents. 
 
In this passage the King James translation diverges from the meaning of tam and instead uses a word that has nothing to do with the meaning of the Hebrew word tam. Why weren't the King James consistent and translated the above as , 'Jacob was a perfect man,' like they did for Job in Job 1:1? 
 
I found out a long time ago, that when the King James Translates a verse that is not consistent with the Hebrew, all you have to do is look to the Septuagint to find out why they translated a particular verse the way they did. 
 
When we look at Job 1:1 again, we find that the Septuagint translated the Hebrew word tam with the Greek word αμεμπτος, which means perfect, the same as the Hebrew word tam and the King James Translation is consistent with the Hebrew and the Greek. 
 
But when we examine Genesis 25:27 we find that the Greek translated the Hebrew word tam as απλαστος, which means plain or simple and the King James Translation bypasses the Hebrew and instead follows the Greek Septuagint in its translation.

The Hebrew word tam means perfect, in the sense of being whole, complete, blameless and mature.

Psalm 145 is an acrostic psalm where each verse begins with the next letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In the Aleppo Codex the first verse begins with the letter aleph, the second with the beyt, the third with the gimel, and so on. Verse 13 begins with the letter mem, the 13th letter of the Hebrew alphabet, the next verse begins with the letter samech, the 15th letter of the Hebrew alphabet. There is no verse beginning with the 14th letter nun. 
  
When we examine Psalm 145 from the Dead Sea Scrolls we find between the verse beginning with the mem and the verse beginning with the samech, the verse beginning with the letter nun. {Psalm 145 missing verse, begins 3rd column, second line, last word - n'aman} There we read: נאמן אלוהים בדבריו וחסיד בכול מעשיו , which translates as "God is faithful in his words, and gracious in all his deeds." 
  
This is why Psalm 145:13 reads differently in the KJV and the modern versions such as the RSV. The KJV was written prior to the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls while the RSV and other modern versions were written afterward and often incorporate what has been found in the Dead Sea Scrolls.

KJV Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. 
 
In the Hebrew, the word behind lord is YHVH. This name, whose pronunciation is not known for certain, is usually written as Yahweh, or Jehovah. Just like all other Hebrew names, the name YHVH has a meaning, and it isn't lord. It means 'he exists.' 
 
If your name is Bob, but I never called you "Bob", but instead called you "man," would you agree that I have "diminished" your name? 6519 times the name Yahweh/Jehovah has been diminished by being replaced with the English word "Lord." 
 
Right here in Deut 4:2, the very command telling us not to add to or diminish from the word of YHVH, we have the KJV translators diminishing his very name and adding a different word in place of it.
