Last Will & Testament of Jesus 
 
We all would be excited to learn that we were in a rich distant relative’s will. Inheritances can certainly change a person’s life. Where the writer of Hebrews takes us at the end of chapter nine, is that all of the followers of Christ have an eternal inheritance coming our way. That inheritance means we are “in” that last will and Testament, and the one that made the will has died. Join us as we further discover what belongs to us as the disciples of Christ.

The Law Made Nothing Perfect 
 
Chapter seven of Hebrews reveals the glorious truth that Christ accomplished what the Law of Moses could never do, He has brought us near to God. God has changed Priesthoods! Man’s path to God does not run through Levi or Aaron, but through Christ who is of a different order of priests. God Himself has declared that it is through Christ that we have been brought to a place of perfection.

Hebrews 7:1-17

Spiritual Immaturity One can have length of life and not experience depth of life. On the other hand, one can have depth of life while having a short life. Length of life is not necessarily an indication of someone being a mature person nor is being in the church for your whole life a guarantee that you’re a mature Christian. Join us as we finish our study in Hebrews chapter 5 as we are given the signs of spiritual immaturity.

It seems that the church today views women’s involvement through two extreme lenses. One takes the approach that women are to be barefoot, pregnant, and hidden from sight. The other wants to turn the entire day to day operation of the church over their control. But once again we find a wonderful balance in the Word of God. Join us in our study of 1 Timothy, as we find clarity when it comes to the role of women in the church.

And yet it’s exactly what we read as we close out the second chapter of 2 Thessalonians. So, does this make God unjust or even a liar? Join us as we sort out this difficult passage.
