Before that encounter with the Lord, I traveled the US playing music, filling my life with selfish desires for the music industry & the lures of the worlds pleasures while all along, my heart was dark & empty. I knew I was living in a sinful lifestyle. I made "some deal" with God to lay my guitar down & come back to "church" after I was done fulfilling my "dream." I thank God as He was patient with me while my selfish desires were to run after the world & all it had for me, not realizing how He was protecting me from grave danger & sparing me to be used for His pleasure & glory.
