We have previously brought out the realities of Christ’s two-part Atonement application (Matthew 28:19-20 that answers to its two teachings). Firstly, that of the wondrous welcome into the Holiest Place, and that through the one-time event of justifying faith in the uniting of faith with truth; confessing the need and receiving the gift of eternal life; (Luke 1:77) for which there is no further offering necessary. This assurance of debt paid is the act of the justifying Judge, Who after reviewing the charges brought against me finds me, the accused sinner, not guilty before the Law. The Atonement Blood of Christ satisfied the demands of the Law, in that what Christ did was imputed to my account. I reckon the Divine law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the penalty of the law of sin and death. I am dead to them because my Substitute died to satisfy them. I reckon myself dead to them, for I have been crucified with Christ, and in newness of life, in a newly made way, alive unto Christ. 
 
And the second part of the Atonement being the ongoing necessity of the sanctifying faith application, (1st Thessalonians 5:23… “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”) that of enlivened conscience directing unto minding the things of the Spirit/spirit through the renewed mind to Christ’s Words. Being unto fruitful and loving obedience, with confessions of ongoing shortcomings and sins in Heaven at the throne of grace. And that for granting mercy and grace in order to hold fast the shield of faith and not fling it away in patience lost, to finish the race, to battle, to overcome the flesh, to attain unto His promises and incomparable reward in the coming kingdom of Christ. 
 
And this great two-part Atonement is offered to the Blood-sprinkled and sealed Believer as an expression of loving obedience by the Son of God to the Father. And in the presentation and realization of this great Atonement, is the intent of full salvation for the recipient. There is an ongoing loving response by us expected by the Father as seen in previous verses. 
 
The Holy Spirit then turns and leads us immediately to the 4th great warning of the Book of Hebrews VERSES 26-31, that of the Father’s severe judgment response that should be anticipated as a fearful prospect to the sealed child of God in Jesus Christ (not for the babe in Christ). The prospect for harsh punishment awaits those more mature believers who were thoroughly enlightened and with intimate knowledge, who then willfully and willingly (as opposed to willfully and unwillingly) commits awful adversarial type sin. For God has just indignation for this type of person’s willfully committed sins, who is thereby guilty of critically abusing His Son’s ultimate selfless sacrificial offering. This severe warning is directed and warranted against the vacillating Hebrew Christians (and all other Christians down through time) that they might continually be fearfully alert and that they may steer clear of those destructive rocky shallows that threaten to sink their boat. 
 
Here in the Book of Hebrews is Scriptural example of willful apostasy of once zealous and faithful Christians, but in the face of long standing persecution are now wavering. This is the same warning warranted for the end-time believer waxing into like coldness due to wavering wholeheartedness because of ever increasing iniquity. (Matthew 24:9-12…“Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”) The same warning extending to those critically appraising the goodness of the Father in the complacent Church of these end times. (Revelation 3:16… “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”) This warning is an amplification in intensity of the same warning of Hebrews 6:1-8, as it is a warning presented from the deeply offended Father’s viewpoint....

THE NEW EARTH AND THE NEW JERUSALEM ARE GOD’S PLAN FROM THE PARADISE OF EDEN NOW FINALLY MANIFEST 
 
New Jerusalem is represented to us from 4 different perspectives: 
It is God’s Tabernacle. From this perspective it is His Temple, where He abides. It is the Bride of the Lamb, the consort to rule with Christ forever. It is the Paradise of God. It is like Eden, but superior to it, as it is His Glory-filled residence filled with His sons in closest harmonious and unbroken fellowship. It is a City with measurements and materials. 
 
Revelation chapter 22:1-5 The Last Chapter gave us a view of the City from the exterior: Its light and beauty; and what its relationship to the Nations of the New Earth is as a place of pilgrimage, those who are looking from without upon the New Jerusalem. Now these few verses give us a view from the interior of the City of the Bride. In this chapter the Garden’s river and the tree are exposed to our view. And we are told of their relationship to the residents and to the nations without. 
 
The Harlot’s cup was defiling, corrupting. The river of life flowing from the Bride carries refreshing life to all. Not a life that enables men to exist, but some other form of life. The word LIFE has several different meanings. Psuche is the individual soul life, the living being. Whereas Zoe is the force of life within that being. Jesus laid down His Psuche for us. Jesus came that we might have Zoe more abundantly. All beings living eternally have Zoe. Angels have Zoe and therefore will exist eternally. Human beings will exist on the New Earth because they have Zoe. 
 
But the Bride has Zoe more abundantly. Abundant Zoe equates to Glory. It is the life that Christ attained to in His Resurrection. It is the Newness of life. [Romans 6] God gave Him this “glory”; this life as a reward for enduring the Cross. And Christ may give it to whom He chooses. [John 3:34; Hebrews 12:2; John 5] Born of Adam, we are all fallen living souls with greatly diminished Zoe. But the Last Adam is a quickening spirit. Giving more Zoe to our spirit as we are justified in receiving Him as our personal Redeemer. More Zoe enables/allows the enlivened spirit to draw upon the gift of the power of the Holy Spirit. Living in the newness of life in the spirit after becoming a Christian, capacitates for the more abundant glorifying Zoe at resurrection [1 Corinthians 15:35-49 with Matthew 25:4] Rank relates to Zoe. Justified Zoe falls way short of glorifying Zoe. Our glory relates to our cooperating work of the power of the Holy Spirit brought to bear upon our fallen nature. 
 
Neither the water of the river nor the fruit of the tree of life can impart a further capacitating work upon that spiritual soul being. But nourishes and maintains to the level of rank or order. In type, physical water maintains, refreshes and is the chief necessity of living. They maintain relative strength and mobility, righteousness and wisdom in the partaker. [Proverbs 3:13,18 11:30] 
 
There is no blood in the New Earth and New Heavens. The life is not found in the blood there, but in the Water and Tree. When a man loses his blood and dies, he does not lose his existence. He still lives, but he’s lost a form of life/gift of a certain way of living. When man is glorified in resurrection, he receives a new “body” with no blood. “For old things are passed away, behold all things are new.” But still a body-glorified. Now this body’s life is found in this water and fruit of the Tree of Life. As the blood supplied life, so now these supply life. It is not only sustaining power and mobility but character associations as it flows from God and the Lamb. As Christ relinquished His will and shed his blood and obtained unto this glorified life, so now those who follow Him in like suffering obtain unto this glorified life. 
 
The River does not appear to leave the City. The Bride will administer and tend the Garden. [Genesis 2:15] There is no altar, no flesh of animal, no blood, no herb or vegetable, no wine. [Genesis 1:29; Leviticus 10:9; Numbers 6; Proverbs 31:4] 
 
Turning water into blood has in view the refusal of the river of life. 
 
The ban on blood to the Israelite has also in view the blood’s association of carrying death in its fallen state. Looking unto the abundant Zoe of the new heavens and new earth. “For the land....

THE GREAT WHITE THRONE 
REVELATION CHAPTER 20:11-15… “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it: and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works, and death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” 
 
This is the most monumental scene in Scripture. For it involves the destinies of all of God’s intelligent beings. Angels, demons and man…. eternal life or eternal death. The statements made in these 5 verses are quick, profound and concise. They have been designed for impact. They are solemn and thought provoking. They leave no room for mistake. They are to be unquestionably taken as to happen literally. (Have I contemplated these Words to such a degree that I own them as Truth?) 
 
Questions immediately come to the mind. 
 
What does it mean that the earth and heavens of Genesis 1:1 had no place found for them, that they have “passed away”? It could simply mean that since the Majestic Holy Judge took the seat on the Great White Throne, that those corrupted inanimate things had no place in this place or its proceedings. Then an inadequate example being the “all rise” as the Judge enters and takes his seat. 
 
Think in terms of this realm as another material realm or of matter; as the universe we are generally confined to, is a created realm. Other than the Eternal realm of the Heaven where God resides. Meaning that the Great White Throne is set in Heaven’s realm, and all intelligent beings are now to stand before Him who is upon that Great White Throne. So the moving of all beings into that realm could of made this material realm appear to John’s eye as having “…fled away…” An example of this could possibly be found in Scripture in Christ leaving this realm for that realm. “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed through the heavens….” (Young’s literal translation of Hebrews 4:14) Meaning he did not go higher and higher until He finally reached Heaven, but that He literally passed through one realm into another. 
 
Scripture does state that the actual dissolving and melting by intense heat of this realm is an occurrence associated with this final Great White Throne Judgment. The explanation becomes clearer then. Remove the façade and the real appears along with the new. This would explain, “..the earth and heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.” It also could explain the absence of mention of those then living not standing among the dead to be judged. They now are those of the nations inhabiting the new heaven and earth of the next chapter. [Chapter 21:1 with 24-27] The fire that falls down from heaven, and devours those enemies of God that come up in final battle against the saints and the beloved city in Revelation 20:9, is also that “…consuming fire…” [Hebrews 12:29] It dissolves the elements of the earth and its heavens, as correspondingly the fire of the lake of fire in the center of the earth now consumes the other locales of Death and Hades. Unrestrained now, it meets the fires from above, (Genesis 8:2) as suddenly all the dead are released from their dissolving restraints, and then all righteous living men are released from their clay bodies that held them to this material realm. And they are purged and reconstituted for the inhabiting of the reconstituted purged elements of the new heaven and earth. Simultaneously, ALL dead intelligent beings of the 2nd Resurrection, in a few moments, find themselves suspended upon the vast and endless landscape among the myriads before the Great White Throne Judgment. And there, far below, the lake of fire, that sea of molten glass now back within its banks, looms ominously. The only remaining trace and reminder of the dissolved ancient universe. 
 
Scripture reveals in those other great Judgments of Genesis in its history wherein God has shown us that He does not utterly destroy or obliterate out of existence that which He has created and subsequently........

Revelation 20:7-10 “And when a thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down form God out of heaven and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” 
 
It is here in Revelation Chapters 19 & 20 that we are instructed in God’s undoing of satan’s plans revealed in Chapters 12-14. At which time, as today, he ruled the Nations as the god of this World. [2 Corinthians 4:4] Ruling from the heaven above and associated with this earth, as the prince of the power of air. [Ephesians 2:2] In Chapter 12 we see how he hates and would devour the “man-child” appointed to take his place in ruler-ship over those Nations from and in that very same place from where he had ruled for millenniums. There Satan risks a battle to resist that Child’s ascending into the heaven from where he rules (that heaven associated with this World) and loses. And immediately he is cast out into the earth. “because of this be glad, ye heavens, and those in them who do tabernacle; woe to those inhabiting the land and the sea, because the Devil did go down unto you, having great wrath, having known that he hath little time.” 
 
He, having lost the battle in the spiritual unseen heavens with the Angels of the Lord, then hurriedly organizes in desperation the human earthly Nations unto another battle. Against the first heaven’s physical contingent, where now in the material World he is additionally defeated by the Returning Messiah with Bride in train. [Revelation 19:14] As that “Child” then by victorious force takes reign over those Nations (Revelation 12:5, 2:26,27) as he is bound for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:2) 
 
It is to this post-Millennium, 3rd and final battle that Scripture now instructs us. The object of satan’s enmity is still the Man-child/the Bride along with God’s chosen People of Israel and the beloved City. As it is, the First-Fruit worthies (Luke 20:35; Revelation 14:4) being the Man-Child/Bride, are caught up from the earth to the Tabernacle and Judgment Throne set up in the first heaven. [Revelation 4:2, Ezekiel 1, Daniel 7:13,14,26,27] Along with the later end of Tribulation Harvest of the patient enduring living ones and the blessed First Resurrected that have been ruling for a thousand years. He now takes his last perceived opportunity to wrest by deception that ruler-ship of the Gentile Nations again., And to exact revenge and to attempt to further his doomed cause of regained dominion through the destruction of Millennial Israel. Then, during the Tribulation, the City was unholy, and its few holy occupants fled and the earth helped the remnant. But now Israel and the beloved City is holy and heaven intervenes for her. [Numbers 2:17 with Numbers 3:38] And alas, this final endeavor fails and the unholy trinity is reunited in the now kindled fire. And the lament of satan’s fate is sadly and eternally manifest (Ezekiel 28:12) as satan’s seed are finally devoured by the protecting fire directly above/ and he is cast into the Lake of Fire. [Matthew 25:41] 
 
The THOUSAND Year Period 
The long drama that begun in the Third Heaven with Lucifer’s pride, even before the creation of man, that later engulfed the first Adam, is now about to close. Now before us only lies this brief, last rebellion and its judgments, the resurrection of the remaining dead to stand before the White Throne of Judgment, and then the eternal state. 
 
What is discovered during the Millennium is: 
1) That the Age of Mercy and Grace, could be thought of as “out of place and time”, but was yet the only answer to the flesh.**** 
2) That man, having received the precious gift of free will, that without God-centric yielding of that will to the supernatural force of the Holy Spirit into feely developing God-like character, will always be subject to an inferior self-centric state. 
3) The reality of this is seen in that the flesh of man is proved to be terminally fatal in spite of the blameless and holy Millennial Law. And in spite of heavenly support in a God-centric and Holy Spirit anointed...

THE BRIDE MAKES HERSELF READY 
 
Several key points of Chapter 19 require a Christian to go deeper into the exploration of the Word than nominal Christianity has a mind to do. One is that God, as a part of redemption taking vengeance for His Servants, He is pouring out His Judgments on His Adversaries and His enemies. Blood is answering to Blood. He is judging His people and is removing the wicked from His Kingdom and is once again establishing the World in harmony, back in its right place and under His authority. 
 
As someone has said: 
1) Satan is out of place; his rightful place is in the abyss, to be followed by the lake of fire. 
2) Christ is out of place; His rightful place is seated on His Own throne, ruling the earth in the stead of Satan. 
 3) The Church is out of place; the Church’s rightful place is to be seated on the throne with Christ, ruling in the stead of angels. 
4) Israel is out of place; Israel’s rightful place is to be positioned at the head of the nations on the earth. 
5) The Gentile nations are out of place; they are being ruled by the satanic forces apart from the Covenants of God. Their rightful place is to be ruled over and blessed by the first-born sons….Christ and His consort and Israel. 
 
REVELATION 19 continues the revelation of Christ’s, and now His Bride’s investiture. 
*The Father has chosen to satisfy the Soul of His Dear Son. [Isaiah 53:11] That is, that He has given unto Him a Bride. 
*This Bride will have the glory and privilege of ruling with the Son, and that being forever, as no one will ever be above the Son. 
*The Bride is the sweetest and greatest example of loving intimacy that is known to man. The connection here with Christ, the Son of God, is so marvelous, and so full of promise, it is hard, but to a certain degree is now to be comprehended. 
*That the Bride has made herself ready means to be found worthy: to have been yielded to the Word and Spirit of God. To have been found worthy is no small or insignificant thing, but the greatest accomplishment that a human could ever have been found worthy of. 
*This union in Him is that which God desired from the Garden with Adam and Eve. It is the typed example of Rebecca and Isaac of Genesis 25. It is seen again in Boaz and Ruth, who was his Gentile wife, Joseph and his Gentile wife, Moses and his Gentile wife. 
It is the glory-filled relation that Paul strove for and preached. [Colossians 1; Philippians 3] It is the Gift God gave His Son. [John 17:6] That He purchased with His Blood, and defeated the enemy to obtain. To share in this union is to share in His Glory. 
*This qualified union of Bridegroom and Bride is apparent in Scripture and beyond the mere sharing of eternal life that all the saved will share. Therefore, not all saved then will be the Bride. 
 
Revelation 19:1 declares the Bride of Christ… “much people in heaven…” 
These, as we have discovered, are the many people of: 
1) The First-Fruits rapture offering. [Matthew 24:40-42; Revelation12:5] 
2) Joined by the Harvest; those who had endured during the Tribulation and did not take the mark of the beast. [Revelation 7:14;14:12,13] 
3) And those Old Covenant and New Covenant worthies resurrected out from among the dead. [Hebrews 11:16; Revelation 20:4,5,6] 
“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.” Verse 7. 
The stress of the verse is; the wife: …she has made herself ready. She, having made herself ready, is depicted in her clothing. As it is that the Harlot’s sinful acts of unrighteousness is depicted by her scarlet wardrobe (Revelation17:4), and is denounced and thought worthy of condemning judgment. So also the Bride’s wardrobe of justified white, whitened and finally brilliant as torch light depicts her righteous acts in her making herself ready. And the assessment here is that she is worthy of the investiture. This worthiness is exampled in the righteous acts of Overcomers in their raiment in Revelation chapters 2 &3, and compare the Greek words for “white” in 7:13 &14.They have washed their robes provided in the righteousness of Christ, and made them whiter, so says the Angel of God. 
 
Now in Revelation 19:8, “And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white:….” torch-like radiant shining is the different Greek word for white here. Why is she so arrayed here at the wedding? Because her good works, by faith in Christ, are accepted by God......

THE BRIDE MAKES HERSELF READY

Several key points of Chapter 19 require a Christian to go deeper into the exploration of the Word than nominal Christianity has a mind to do. One is that God, as a part of redemption taking vengeance for His Servants, He is pouring out His Judgments on His Adversaries and His enemies. Blood is answering to Blood. He is judging His people and is removing the wicked from His Kingdom and is once again establishing the World in harmony, back in its right place and under His authority.

Revelation Chapter 18 concludes with the destruction of Babylon, the great city, the epitome of all ancient and modern self-glorified Godlessness. Her destruction is complete and eternal. Chapter 19 begins in verse 1… “And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, alleluia; Salvation, and glory and honor, and power, unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.” Compare this with Deuteronomy 32:43. “Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.” 
 
We have been looking in the Book of Revelation at the closing out of the Times of the Gentiles. That is for those specific last 3 1/2 years of the GREAT TRIBULATION / GREAT TEMPTATION /Jacob’s Trouble (Jeremiah 30:7) is that future time when the final seven years of Daniel’s Seventy-Week prophecy will be fulfilled (Daniel 9:24-27) upon the entire earth in the 16th,17th and 18th chapters and now the 19th of Revelation. 
 
Today there is but ONE ruling system in the World…it is satanic. 
Satan, since his fall, has been thrice the incumbent, but has never lost his authority. That is to say, significantly have it diminish. First, he was the incumbent after God made Man/Adam in His image; that he might rule in regality in his place. But Satan jealously, having caused his fall; retained his rule in the World. God then brought Israel into being through the Abrahamic and Jacob Covenant. [Isaiah 43:1] Satan, then having also caused Israel to stumble, maintained his World ruler-ship. 
Having been defeated by Jesus, now for the third and final time the incumbent. 
 
There is no other ruling system in the World. This becomes important to understand as we look at the End Time governmental dynamics of the World both spiritually and materially from the Scriptural Truth perspective. It is being played out for us in the Book of Revelation, and we should keep these things in mind. 
 
Israel, having received the promises of the Kingdom and the blessing unto the Gentiles, but becoming sick and corrupted, they rejected His Lordship; and have then/now no authority in the World. Israel’s grievous sin against God was/is also then against all Gentile Nations, leaving them unrepresented in the satanic ruled World “…strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the World.…” God’s sense of justice fit for the crime is why one finds Israel scattered among the Gentile Nations, and why the Gentile Nations have ruled over Israel since Babylon. This is also why God has used the Gentile Nations as instruments of His Wrath upon Israel: And that all the way to this VERSE that celebrates that great redemptive moment, warranting such great voice of much people praising God…. even unto this: The Return and revelation of the Messiah unto Israel’s repentance. 
 As an additional consequence to the Nation of Israel; their breaking off resulted in the Atonement of Christ’s Covenant in this current Age of Mercy and Grace in the calling of a people for His Name primarily out of the Gentile Nations; that will be the Bride of Christ. A Nation looking unto the heavens for their kingdom to come, entirely by faith in Christ’s Words, in the spirit of wisdom, and understanding in the knowledge of God, and having no part in the World’s kingdom system. Their ruling is appointed for another time (Millennial) and from another place other than on the Earth (from the heavens). Therefore, any ruling by a Christian in this World is unauthorized & disqualifying as “…out of time.. “ Theirs is the charge of “faithful witnesses”. And as Israel was held to severe account for their “witness” of God to the Nations, (Isaiah 42:6) so then also a Christian will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ and give account for their lives relative to their calling. [1Peter 2:9] (A sobering thought is that it is the same Just God who warranted the Holocaust(s) of Israel who requires also the Christians’ accounting).
