In this Christian life, it is vital that we notice god’s hand in our lives. 
We need to patiently wait for God’s work to be revealed. 
We need to notice God’s provision; we need to publicly give God the glory for all his loving-kindness. 
If we have trusted in Christ, we are in an eternal relationship with God. 
It is absolutely certain that God will do his part in this relationship, He will protect, provide, preserve us. 
The question is, will we even notice him working in our lives?

Part I Acts 16:31-34 "The Answer to THE Question"

There have been and will always be false teachers.  John warns his readers to guard against false teaching, providing some steps we can all take to insure we are not deceived by false teachers.

"Guarding Against Deception" 1 John 3:7-12

God has given us a promise of eternal life.  We can have assurance of our eternal destiny based on this promise from God.  When we have assurance of our salvation we can live life without fear or dread and love and serve God.

"Knowing what you Know" 1 John 2:25-29

In life we must choose who and what we will trust.  We can trust in ourselves, other people, money, the government.  Or we can trust in God and his promises.  We need to know that it is foolishness to trust in anyone or anything other than God.

"Connecting Promises to Fulfillment" Genesis 11:10-26

The world is full of lost and hurting people who do not know what they are looking for.  As Christians we need to help them to not be afraid, to know they need Jesus Christ and that Christ died on the cross to pay for their sins.  We are called to help them understand He rose from the grave, He is not in the tomb.  This is the message the angel gave the women who came to the tomb on Easter morning.

Sometimes disagreements escalate into feuds. Even in these times, we are called to follow God's word, to live like he calls us to live.  This sermon examines one such time and how the Apostles responded in a disagreement.
