24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

Tom Pennington has served as Pastor-Teacher at Countryside Bible Church in Southlake, Texas since 2003. Prior to arriving in Texas, Tom served in various roles at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California for 16 years. His ministry at Grace included being an elder, Senior Associate Pastor, and the personal assistant to John MacArthur. Tom was also an adjunct faculty member of The Master’s Seminary and Managing Director of Grace to You. 
 
Tom is a graduate of Bob Jones University and holds an honorary Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) from The Master’s University. 
 
In addition to his role at Countryside, Tom travels internationally to train pastors in expository preaching. He currently serves as the Dean of the Dallas Distance Location of The Master’s Seminary where he also is an adjunct professor. He teaches various pastoral and preaching courses.

Ransom Maggard serves as the Associate Pastor at Community Baptist Church in Stuart, FL. Ransom also teaches 6th-12th grade Bible at Community Christian Academy, a ministry of CBC. 
 
Ransom graduated from Crown College in Tennessee in 2011 with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. He and his wife Ashley later joined CBC in 2014. They have three children - Abby, Rhys, and Remy. Ransom has served on staff at CBC since 2015 in a variety of ways including student ministry, assisting in coordinating ministry and body life, and in the preaching ministry. Dr. Doran earned both his M.Div. and Th.M. from DBTS, and his D.Min. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife, Claudia, have four sons: David (wife, Abi), Daniel (wife, Melissa), Dillon (wife, Emily), and Derek (wife, Jen).
