In Today’s Gospel lesson from St. Matthew, we find Jesus and the disciples still seeking to get away to get some much-needed rest. 


So, they withdrew from the densely populated districts along the Sea of Galilee and journeyed into the region of Phenicia near the large cities of Tyre and Sidon, where they came face-to-face with a Canaanite woman from that region who came to Jesus seeking His help to her daughter who was severely oppressed by a demon.
