The book of Habakkuk is a pendulum of anguish and joy! In the first chapter, the prophet complains. In the third chapter, he rejoices. What happened in the second chapter? He heard God’s voice. He was reminded that the righteous shall live by faithfulness. The steadfast faithfulness of God is the source to our faithfulness, and it demands our complete loyalty to God.
