"Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

Let all your things be done with charity."

Are you asleep? Are you watching?
As Christians we are to stay awake... watch...pay attention and take a strong stand for what is right.

According to the Strong's concordance online, "Quit you like men" means to "Act like a man" man up and be strong!!

It requires boldness to take a stand for what is right. I pray for boldness when God gives me opportunities to talk to people about the Lord. He can do that and give us wisdom to know what to say.

If course, in all of our boldness we want to have charity, love and compassion on those we meet and talk to.

Sometimes it's easier not to care. It takes effort on our part and a desire to step away from ourselves and our needs to enter into the cares and needs of others.

My prayer...to speak up, be bold...to love others as Christ did when he "Gave" himself for us on the cross. ????????
