Concerning the confusion of Trinitarians, such as James White, concerning the word Kurios ("Lord") at 1 Corinthians 8:6 and Deuteronomy 6:4 LXX. See recent dialogues between Anthony Buzzard and James White for an example of this confusion in the links below.

Trinitarians attempt to suggest that Jesus and the Father must be the same Lord at 1 Corinthians 8:6 by suggestively implying there is only one Lord in existence. But that isn't what Paul said and the facts prove otherwise. For example, 1 Kings 1:36 proves Israel, the people of God, had one Lord, Yahweh, and one Lord David; they had one Kyrios, God, and one Kyrios, David. Kyrios1 and Kyrios2. These two Lords were NOT THE SAME LORD. Not only so, if Paul had effectively said, as Trinitarians are suggesting, "there is one Lord God, the Father.... and one Lord, Jesus," that in itself amounts to TWO Lord Gods. 1 + 1 = 2.

The Lord God has no Lord or God; the Lord Jesus does have a Lord and God. They are not the same Lord.
