1 Timothy 6:17-19 :: “Seek First The Kingdom Pt. 3”

Jesus likened giving of our time talents and treasure to advance God’s kingdom to investing – lay-up treasure in heaven (Matt. 6:19-21). When you manage the resources that God entrusted you with for His glory, you are laying up treasure in heaven to enjoy eternally, and you are impacting others eternally. When you prioritize God’s kingdom you’ll experience contentment in this life and the life to come.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus’ kingdom manifesto, He spends an inordinate amount of time addressing the topic of money. Jesus spent more time talking about money than any other subject in the Bible, because He is competing for our affections.
