I saw a recent survey about how Spanish teenagers look for leaders that appear strong (singers, football players), and didn’t think much of humility. It made me think of the Corinthian church that had started following "super apostles” that put themselves forward as strong compared to Paul. But Paul doesn’t buy into it. Instead, he goes further down. He boasts of his weakness. Because it was never about him, but about Jesus and his strength. I’m praying that the next generation of youth in Spain (and through the world) will look to and become leaders who boast in their weakness because of their delight in Christ’s glory and strength.
