In the past few years, there is a term that has become commonplace in our world, fake news. Unfortunately, fake news has not been confined to the political / secular world. Today we have too many teachers who are giving out fake news tales about Christianity and our Lord. These tales are far from the truth that was established by the all sufficient, all authoritative word of our Lord. This is Peter’s point as he writes the words we will study.
