Title: Remember Who I Am!
Scripture: Joshua 24 : 13
13 I gave you a land on which you had not labored and cities that you had not built, and you dwell in them. You eat the fruit of vineyards and olive orchards that you did not plant.’

Message Outline :
Introduction: Who is the main figure of the Covenant journey
(1) Shechem
(2) This chapter is littered with the first-person pronoun

1. God is our Savior (v.2-3)
(God saved us from sin and curse)
“And Joshua said to all the people, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘Long ago, your fathers lived beyond the Euphrates, Terah, the father of Abraham and of Nahor; and they served other gods. 3 Then I took your father Abraham from beyond the River and led him through all the land of Canaan, and made his offspring many. I gave him Isaac”
(1) Abraham’s family was originally from Ur of Chaldean where they made idols for idol worship
(2) “I took” (v.3)
(3) Gives victory (v.3)
“and led him through all the land of Canaan, and made his offspring many.”

2. God is our Healer (v.6)
(God healed us from a life of slavery to Satan)
Then I brought your fathers out of Egypt, and you came to the sea. And the Egyptians pursued your fathers with chariots and horsemen to the Red Sea.
(1) God gave complete victory yet Israelite still slaves in Egypt = satan
(2) So God showed the Israelite a sure evidence
(3) Healing of Faith and lifestyle

3. God is our Strength (v.11)
(Gives us victory over the forces of darkness)
“And you went over the Jordan and came to Jericho, and the leaders of Jericho fought against you, and also the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. And I gave them into your hand.”
(1) Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
(2) Romans 8:31 - If God is for us, who can be against us?
(3) Acts 1:8 - But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Conclusion: Hold on to your God-given mission
