Title: God's Grace!
Scripture: Acts 9:15
15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel.

Intro:“Euaggelion” - Evangelism/gospel (Is.52:7)
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
(1) to proclaim good news
(2) When you receive this good news...
(3) Nothing else can be of good news to your soul – Only gospel
(4) You are chosen by God to enjoy this blessing

1. God’s grace (Acts 9:3-5)
3 Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him. 4 And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” 5 And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.
(1) God’s one-sided love (Rom.5:8) - “suddenly”
“but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
(2) Grace of knowing Jesus Christ (v.5)
“I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.”

2. Purpose of God’s grace (v.15)
But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel.
(1) “Gentiles” – 237 nations 5000 tribe
(2) “Kings” – Summit – Healing
(3) “Children of Israel” – Remnants

3. The strength of God’s grace (v.17)
So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you came has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
(1) Filling of the Holy Spirit
(2) Guidance of the Holy Spirit
(3) Working of the Holy Spirit
