Revelation 6:9-11 is about what God says will happen on earth after the rapture. There will be a massacre of Christians during the 7 years of tribulation. Our text lets us see into the future, and into the 7 years of tribulation. John sees souls in heaven. All the Christians(the church), prior to the scroll being opened, are with the Lord enjoying His presence because of the rapture. But now we find out what happens on earth after the rapture. We learn to better appreciate our freedom in Christ today when we consider the truths that are presented in our text about the souls in heaven that John is talking about at the opening of the 5th seal.

1. Their Identity. (Who they are.)
2. Their Curiosity. (They ask a question.)
3. Their Garments.(Clothed in white garments.)
4. Their Command. (Be patient till…)
