In this sermon (preached from Isaiah 26 by Pastor Andrew Ray), we see differing responses to the coming of Christ. One would think the coming of Jesus would only be met with gratitude, but Isaiah chapter 26 (as well as various New Testament passages) testifies of varying responses. The context of the passage speaks to a song that will be sung when Christ returns at His second advent and to establish His kingdom; however, there is no doubt practical application to us concerning when Christ will return at the blessed hope. What will our response be when He comes?
