I. THE THREAT TO SOCIETY (Psalm 11:1-3)
A. The Confidence of the Righteous (Psalm 11:1)
1. The answer of the righteous—“In the LORD put I my trust.”

B. The Threat of the Wicked (Psalm 11:2)
1. Their preparations (see Psalm 37:14)
2. The privacy—“that they may privily” (see Psalm 64:3-4); Note: In order to maintain their cover, the wicked do their work in secret or under the guise of a pure or helpful spirit.
3. Their purpose—“shoot”
4. Their prospect—“the upright in heart”

II. THE KING ON HIS THRONE (Psalm 11:4-7)
A. The King’s Throne (Psalm 11:4a)
1. The LORD is in His holy temple.

1. Toward all (Psalm 11:4b)
