Numbers 11:1-3 marks the first portion of Israel's Journey from Sinai to Kadesh Barnea. They come to a place to be named Taberah, due to their general complaining - no specific complaint is named. The message challenges believers to Not Complain! I. Because it is sin (v.1a); II. Because it brings God's Judgment (v.1b-2); and III. Because it scars our testimony (v.3). This section is the prelude to what becomes a pattern in following passages in the wilderness journey.
