During question time in the debate is the bible truly the word of God, a questioner asks Pastor Stanley for proof that he is a true believer in Jesus Christ.

Snake bite kills Christian preacher.
Venomous snake kills Christian pastor.

Because it says in Mark 16:16-18 that if anybody drinks deadly poison it will not harm them.

Ahmed Deedat's response is that this is a fabricated verse and not found in the most authentic manuscripts.

Bart Ehrman confirms the facts in his book Misquoting Jesus on Page 67. He talks about Mark 16:9-20 and the abrupt ending of that chapter.
