Luke 9:46-48 (NASB)

46  An argument started among them as to which of them might be the greatest.
47  But Jesus, knowing what they were thinking in their heart, took a child and stood him by His side,
48  and said to them, "Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me; for the one who is least among all of you, this is the one who is great."

Introduction
• Success can lead to arrogance.
• Time after time in the gospels, we see that the disciples just don’t get it.
• We don’t have to understand everything to follow Jesus.
• Jesus has patience with us and instructs us, refocuses us, and enlightens our understanding.

Key Point: Jesus invites all to stand with Him.

Jesus Invites All
• You matter to Jesus.
• Don’t ignore those that Jesus has called great.
• Jesus cares about those that the world discounts; and so should we.
• If we are going to be all in, we must be ready to welcome and receive everyone that Jesus invites.
• The message of the kingdom of God is to be shared with the least.
• You may go unnoticed by others, but you do not go unnoticed by God.
