This week Paul defines the GOSPEL by showing us: The predicament of the gospel, the power of the gospel, and the purpose of the gospel.


Journey Church defines the gospel as: “the good news of what Jesus has done to restore broken creation and sinful people to their holy creator. It is the true story of humankind’s relationship with God, which is marred by sin and restored by grace through faith in Christ alone.” Spend some time as a group talking about this definition.

This weekend we talked about the phenomenon of the ECHO CHAMBER. Why do you think it is important for us to recognize this phenomenon. In what ways do you experience it? What are some ways we can break out of the ECHO CHAMBER?

This weekend we talked about the difference between Legalism & Licentiousness. What side of the spectrum do you tend to fall on? How is this destructive to your faith and life?

Read Ephesians 2:8-10 together as a group. What is this passage saying? How does it change the way you live?
