This week we heard a story about Jesus calling his first disciples. He asked them to lay down their nets, follow him, and he will make them fisher of men. What do you think that looks like for us today?
Read Ephesians 3:1-6 together as a group. What is Paul saying? What does this say about God? How does this shape the way we live?
Read Ephesians 3:7-13 together as a group. How does Paul describe himself? What does that mean for us?
What are some of the gifts that God has given you? How can you use those gifts to participate with God in His mission? What are some painful circumstances that you have had in your life that God has used to help someone else?
Read Ephesians 3:10 aloud — what are some ways that we can take more seriously the role of the church in the world? How can we take our role in the church more seriously?
