Paul and Silas are in Philippi in Macedonia. A slave-girl follows them for days greatly disturbing Paul until he finally orders a spirit of divination to leave the girl, which enrages her owners, as they lose their money-making "prophet". For the third time in Acts, we encounter another prison story, this time with Paul and Silas being flogged and thrown into the depths of prison, in an impossible-to-escape situation...or so we are led to believe!
