Bible’s First Resurrection (1 Kings 17:17-24) = Elijah resurrects son of the Zarephath widow

The son of the woman who owned the house became sick. His sickness was so serious that there was no breath left in him. Elijah said, “Give me your son.” He took him out of her
arms, carried him to the upper room where he was staying, and laid him on his own bed. He cried out, “O Lord, have You brought tragedy on the widow with whom I lodge by killing her son?”

He stretched himself out on the child three times and said, “I pray, let this child’s soul come back to him.” After the Lord heard Elijah’s voice, the soul of the child returned, and the boy revived.

Elijah said to the mother, “See, your son lives!”
