Brian Sumner - "The Transfiguration" - Luke 9:27-37

Having just shared with His disciples, how He will suffer and be crucified, along with their call to carry their cross, die to self, not be ashamed of Jesus, here we see Jesus lead His disciples to the top of a mountain, where He reveals to them His Glory, while Elijah and Moses engage Jesus about His "departure", and the "fulfillment" of Gods plan.

In this sermon we see the Old Testament mesh with the New, as thousand of years of prophecies are fulfilled before just a few.

This message will encourage you to see Jesus as He is, not as One Who is still on The Cross, but The One Who today sits beside The Father, and wants us to be aware of what is in store for all of Gods children when we will one day see Him in His Glory.
