Act 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, even as on us at the beginning.
Act 11:16 And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said that John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.
Act 11:17 If then God gave to these the same gift as He also gave to us, when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I, that I could oppose God?
Act 11:18 And when they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying: Then to the Gentiles also has God granted repentance to life.

The Church in Antioch
Act 11:19 Now those who were scattered because of the persecution that arose over Stephen travelled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except Jews.
Act 11:20 But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they reached Antioch, spoke to the Gentiles also, preaching the Lord Jesus.
Act 11:21 And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.
Act 11:22 And the report concerning them came to the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas as far as Antioch.
Act 11:23 Who, when he had arrived and had seen the grace of God, was glad; and he encouraged them all, that with purpose of heart they should cleave to the Lord.
Act 11:24 For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith; and many people were added to the Lord.
Act 11:25 And he went to Tarsus to seek out Saul.
Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it came to pass, that for a whole year they were gathered together with the church and taught many people; and there, in Antioch, the disciples were first called Christians.
Act 11:27 Now in these days there came down prophets from Jerusalem to Antioch.
Act 11:28 And one of them, named Agabus, stood up and foretold by the Spirit that there would be a great famine over all the world. This took place in the days of Claudius.
Act 11:29 And the disciples, every man according to his ability, decided to send relief to the believers that lived in Judea.
Act 11:30 Which also they did, sending it to the elders by the hand of Barnabas and Saul.
